We had the kids today.  I worked for a couple of hours in the morning then we headed out for lunch (next time I'll fry bacon & eggs).  When did things get so expensive?  I guess I don't notice it too much with just Becky and I but when you multiply 6 or 7 dollars by 5, well then you notice it.  Ho well, I guess I won't be retiring for a while (ever).

It turned out to be "Free Pie Wednesday" (why hadn't I ever heard of that?) at the restaurant so we had pie on top of lunch.  We were pretty lethargic by the time we left.  Kikki had spilled hot coco all over herself so we had to go back for a costume change.

Next stop was a movie "Alvin and the Chipmunks #37".  It actually wasn't too bad for a kids movie.  The kids sat as far away from us as possible.  That worked ok for Becky and I too.  We had a nice quiet couple of hours regardless of the grating sound of the chipmunks voices.  I came a hair of falling asleep but shook it off.

After the movie, we walked across the lot to Bass Pro Shops and wandered around for a while.  They had a carousel set up for Christmas and a bunch of other kids stuff.

The shooting range and 4-wheelers are also pretty popular.

As if we hadn't had enough "Free Pie", we had to stop at a frozen yogurt stand on the way to the car to have something for the road.  I passed.

We dropped the kids off at home around 5pm and headed home for a rest.
